Basketball experts have been teaching pupils how to shoot hoops after securing a grant from a housing association.
Newham All Star Sports Academy (NASSA) has been coaching youngsters at Oaks Park High School, Oaks Lane, Newbury Park, after L&Q provided £132,000 for sessions at schools around east London.
The scheme gives the young sports enthusiasts a chance to gain accredited sporting qualifications.
NASSA chief executive Natasha Hart MBE said: “The take-up for the clubs has been fantastic and we are excited to see all our new attendees boosting their confidence and sporting abilities.”
