Election candidates will battle it out at a public hustings in Barkingside on Monday.
Residents’ group Barkingside 21 invited a candidate from each party standing in the area to have their say and answer questions from the public.
Nathan Pathmanathan, standing in Clayhall ward, will represent the Conservatives, Mike Keahan, standing in Roding ward, will represent the Liberal Democrats and Mark Santos, standing in Hainault ward, is for Labour.
None has been a councillor before. Candidates from other parties could join on the night.
The event, chaired by Recorder editor Chris Carter, will start at 7.30pm at Fullwell Cross Library in High Street, Barkingside.
