Trains from London Liverpool Street will not be stopping at Forest Gate, Manor Park or Ilford stations until around 2pm.
Train services between London Liverpool Street and Shenfield via Ilford and Romford may also be running non stop between Maryland and Ilford at short notice.
The disruption is said to be the result of emergency engineering works between Stratford and Ilford.
TfL buses are accepting Abellio Greater Anglia tickets on Bus routes 25 and 86.
Customers can also travel to Ilford, and change for London bound services which are stopping normally.
