A man wearing a “Joker mask” was seen smashing through gardens close to where two men were shot dead, it has been claimed.
Officers are continuing to search for suspects after a triple shooting in Henley Road, Ilford, at 12.16am today (October 25).
Three men were found with gunshot wounds after armed police were called in.
One of the victims in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene and another died a short time later.
Neighbours told the Telegraph that sounds of the shooting were disguised by fireworks set off in the area during Diwali celebrations, while one neighbour claims they saw a man in “all black” and a “black Joker mask”.

It is claimed the man broke the fence of the neighbouring garden as they fled.
The third victim, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police has said that “formal identification has not yet taken place”, despite widespread speculation about the victims' identities.
Police said earlier today that they believe they know the identity of the victim in his 20s and work to confirm the other man’s identity is ongoing.
