Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in South Woodford yesterday (January 7).
A man in his early 40s sadly died after crashing into a building on High Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10.41am.
Officers, the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London’s Air Ambulance were in attendance.
An LAS spokesperson said a number of resources were sent, including two ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic, and incident response officer, and a medic in a fast response car, in addition to London’s Air Ambulance.
Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

A police spokesperson added it is believed no other vehicles were involved, and enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Chadwell Head is asking any witnesses or anyone with footage to contact them on 020 597 4874, quoting CAD 2173/7 Jan.
