The injuries of a teenager found stabbed on a main Ilford road are not life-threatening, police have confirmed.
Officers were called just after 3.15pm yesterday afternoon (January 10) to reports of a stabbing in Ilford Lane.
The boy, believed to be 15, was taken to hospital after being treated at the scene. Police have now confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service, which was also in attendance, said it sent resources including an incident response officer, two medics in fast-response cars and two ambulance crews.

A police cordon was in place as officers investigated the circumstances, with part of Ilford Lane closed and traffic affected in surrounding streets.
The police spokesperson confirmed there have been no arrests, and asked anyone with information, video or images that could help to call 101, using the reference CAD 4200/10 Jan.
