A man has attended hospital with a head injury after an assault took place in Ilford.
Police were called at 2.20am yesterday (Friday, February 24) to an east London hospital after the 31-year-old attended.
Detectives have established that he was assaulted on the evening of Thursday, February 23 on Richmond Road at the junction with Henley Road.

The man remains in a serious but stable condition, according to police.
There have been no arrests and Met enquiries are ongoing.
