A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the head in Chadwell Heath last night.
Police and the London Ambulance Service were called at around 10pm on Thursday (March 2) to High Road.
The man’s condition has since been assessed as non-life threatening, and he was later arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

The investigation is still ongoing and the police have called for witnesses to come forward.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said in a statement: “Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 7563/02Mar”.
The incident follows another incident in Seven Kings this week when a man in his 60s was stabbed.
Three teenage boys were also found injured after reports of a stabbing in South Street, Romford on Monday (February 27).
