A man was stabbed after he attempted to intervene in an Ilford robbery.
Police were called at around 12.05am today (June 14) to reports of a stabbing in Ilford Hill.
The victim, a 33-year-old man, was found stabbed in the chest.
He was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service where his condition was assessed as non-life threatening.

A video on social media showed a police cordon in the street.
A spokesperson for Met Police said that the victim and his friend had witnessed a man being robbed by a group of around five men in the town centre.
The victim had attempted to intervene in the robbery when he was reportedly stabbed, the spokesperson added.
He and his friend then made their way to Ilford Hill where they were said to be found by officers.
The suspects fled the scene in the direction of Ilford Lane, police said, and detectives are reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
Officers have appealed anyone with information to call the police on 101, or tweet @MetCC quoting 35/14JUN.
