A Met Police trainee faces dismissal after she was 11 times over the fit for duty alcohol limit.
Trainee Detective Constable Rosemary Edwards will face a misconduct hearing after she provided two extremely high breath test readings on July 22 last year.
The first reading was 141 micrograms alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath and the second was 144 micrograms alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
This was 11 times over the alcohol limit to be fit for duty which is 13 micrograms of alcohol.
The test was conducted nearly six hours into her shift.
A misconduct hearing will take place on July 11.
It is alleged that this conduct amounts to gross misconduct in that it is so serious as to justify dismissal.
