Police have launched an urgent appeal after a man left an urn containing his child’s ashes in a London cab.
The cab travelled from Fenchurch Street to Smithfield Meat Market at 6.30am today (July 28).
The urn was left inside a black Adidas bag.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 020 7601 2222.
City of London Police (@CityPolice) tweeted: “This is an urgent appeal to all black cab drivers.
“A man has left an urn containing his child’s ashes in a black Adidas bag in a cab he took from Fenchurch Street to Smithfield Meat Market at 6.30am.
“Anyone with any information please contact 020 7601 2222.”
