A crash on the A12 in Redbridge has resulted in road closures and congestion.
Investigation work is reportedly being carried out after a collision at the junction of Temple Mills Lane early this morning.
The AA has reported that the incident had likely occurred at around 2am.
The latest update on the Transport for London (TfL) website says the road between Green Man roundabout and Lea Interchange has since been shut and there are “serious delays” on the A12.

It says traffic is still slow approaching the closure and diversion routes are in place.
Whipps Cross Road, Hollybush Hill, New Wanstead, Hermon Hill, Blake Hall Road, Gainsborough Road and High Road Leytonstone, are the routes most affected.
The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have been contacted for further details.
