Police have appealed for information after a woman was attacked by a stranger in Waltham Forest.
The victim, in her 30s, was reportedly followed by a man who then attempted to sexually assault her on Chingford Road.
Officers of Met Police were called at 11pm on Tuesday (August 1) to reports of the incident. They found the woman in a distressed state at the scene.

A statement issued by police described the man as a white male, approximately 40-50 years old.

He is said to be of a skinny build and is approximately five feet nine inches tall.
