A woman remains in hospital after she was struck by a car in an alleged hit and run crash.
Metropolitan Police were called at 11.19pm on Saturday (August 12) to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Green Lane, Ilford.
Paramedics from London Ambulance Service also attended the scene.
The victim, in her 40s, was found to have suffered a head injury and was rushed to hospital.

Her condition has since been assessed as not life-threatening or life changing.
The driver of the car allegedly failed to stop after the crash, police said.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate them.
Witnesses have been urged to contact the police on 101 quoting CAD 8039/13Aug. Information can also be reported online or tweeted to @MetCC.
The incident comes six days after a fatal crash in Goodmayes Road, Ilford that killed a 45-year-old man.
