A woman has been taken to a major trauma centre as "a priority" after a crash on the A12 this morning.
Traffic and road closures on the A12 in Ilford were reported after the crash in the early hours of the morning, as Storm Ciaran hit the capital.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 4.49am today (2 November) to reports of a road traffic collision on Eastern Avenue, Ilford.
“We sent two ambulance crews and an incident response officer to the scene.
“We treated a woman at the scene for head and arm injuries before taking her to a major trauma centre as a priority. Another person declined treatment at the scene.”
The Met Police has been approached for comment.
According to the AA, flooding and an overturned vehicle had shut the A12 between Horns Road and Barley Lane near Newbury Park.
Congestions were reported on Aldborough Road North and Painters Road, with diversions.
It appears the incident has been cleared and traffic is moving more smoothly.
