A 67-year-old man was stabbed in the stomach by a stranger in a busy high street.
The victim was walking down Seven Kings High Road on March 1 when he was approached by a man he did not know.
The 67-year-old was then stabbed in the stomach.
He was rushed to an east London hospital by London Ambulance Service (LAS).
Police said his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
Officers have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the knife assault.
