A crime scene remains in place in Ilford town centre after a man was stabbed, Met Police said.
Officers were called at 2.50pm yesterday (November 22) to reports of the incident in Clements Road, Ilford.
London’s Air Ambulance attended, and the injured man was taken to an east London hospital.

Police have confirmed the man is having surgery today.
A crime scene was set up following the stabbing and remains in place, a Met spokesperson said.
High Road was partly blocked both ways around Holstock Road yesterday afternoon, according to the AA, but the road has since reopened.
No arrests have been made and police ask anyone with information to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 3901/22Nov.
