Five people required treatment and two were taken to hospital after a fire tore through a flat.
Six fire engines and 40 firefighters responded to a blaze in a block of flats in Eastern Avenue, Ilford, this morning (December 13) after the brigade was called at 2.37am.
Five adults were treated at the scene and two were taken to hospital after a fire tore through half of a fourth-floor flat, London Fire Bridgade said.

Around 40 residents left the building before the LFB arrived.
The fire was under control by 4.54am, LFB added, just over two hours after it was called.
Firefighters from Hainault, Dagenham, Romford and Stratford Fire Stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
