Speed limits for residential roads in one part of Ilford are set to be changed. 

Redbridge Council has proposed to enforce 20 miles per hour speed limits in six roads within the Commonwealth Estate.

Thorlond Road could be subject to a 20 mile per hour speed limitThorlond Road could be subject to a 20 mile per hour speed limit extension (Image: Google Maps) Heron Mews, Myrtle Road, and Perth Road have been confirmed by Redbridge Council as roads that could be made into 20 mile per hour zones. 

The existing 20 mile per hour speed limit in Balfour Road and Thorold Road could also be extended as part of the proposal.

The council's proposal also mentions intent to consolidate the existing speed zones in other roads of the Commonwealth Estate.
