A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer in Ilford.
Police attended Cranbrook Road at about 4.23pm on Sunday (August 25) after receiving information about a drug deal taking place.
On arrival, a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
He was taken into custody and bailed, police said.

Another man was arrested on suspicion of assault on an emergency worker after a police officer was punched.
During the incident, the police officer sustained "minor injuries."
Enquiries are ongoing, police added.
