London Dungeon has been terrifying guests for half a century and this year, to mark its 50th birthday since first opening in 1974, it will be launching a new experience for Halloween.

London Dungeon has been terrifying guests for half a century. (Image: Stripe Communications)The experience, Séance, has been billed as its “scariest show yet”, and will invite guests to take a paranormal journey using a Ouija board to summon notorious 19th century murderer Mary Ann Cotton.
During this ghoulish event, the room will be plunged into darkness, to be filled with mysterious levitations and unidentified screams of terror, leaving guests to face the malevolent spirits of the past.

(Image: Stripe Communications) The experience is set to launch on October 18 and is part of the attraction's popular House of Halloween event featuring 14 terrifying shows and rides, and is one of London’s most popular attractions to visit during the spooky season.

“Our new show, Séance, manifests the horrors of the afterlife and gives guests an immersive experience with terrifying scenes that will send shivers down to their souls.
“For those who dare to venture into the depths of the Dungeon this Halloween, be prepared for our most spine-chilling show yet.”
