A bank in Ilford town centre has reopened after undergoing a refurbishment. 

The HSBC branch in High Street welcomed bank users back this morning (September 26) following a temporary closure.

Cllr Sheila Bain, Mayor of Redbridge, attended the reopening ceremony, accompanied by branch manager Ricky Kambo.

Cyril Bekoe, manager of Ilford's Business Improvement District (BID), said he was "heartened" by the investment.
