A woman and a 13-year-old girl have been charged with stealing from a high street store in Hornchurch.
Selenu Porumbita, 20, of Balfour Road, Ilford, and a girl, 13, have been charged with shoplifting and going equipped to steal after an alleged incident in High Street on Tuesday (October 1).
They will appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on October 29.
Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) were alerted to reports of shoplifting from a store in the road at 12.30pm and arrested two people.

Sgt Amar Sehmby said Havering Police are "working closely" with shops in Hornchurch, which has meant officers have been able to "act promptly on receiving reports of shoplifting".
Sgt Sehmby added: "We would encourage local businesses to report crime by calling 101, always dial 999 in an emergency."
