Heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected today in London, with some localised flooding and disruption possible.

The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning until 10pm tonight (Tuesday).

It comes after thundery showers on Monday brought big downpours in some places, surface water on the roads and lightning and hail.

The Met Office warns Londoners could expect flooding, leading to some damage to buildings or structures.

There could also be some damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes as well as delays to train services and a short-term loss of power.
