A writer for the popular London-based soap opera EastEnders has slammed a recent storyline 'leak' after a supposed document was reported to feature a plotline for next year.
Daran Little, who writes for the BBC programme denied that this document contained spoilers after speculation ran wild on the social media platforms Reddit and Twitter.
A user took to the website to post a picture of one of the 'scripts', which claimed to be for a 2024 episode.
The original poster said that the material had been left behind by the showrunners after a story conference for the BBC show.
This is not legit.

The image was then quickly shared online with fans desperate to know if the leaked plotline was legitimate with users attempting to get an answer from Daran.
Under a post asking "Could this be legit" one user tagged Daran to ask: "@DaranLittlecan can you confirm?"
Daran was quick to reply, simply saying: "This is not legit."
The fan then thanked the writer for his debunking of the script, putting the issue to rest.
This comes as Albert Square experiences one of its most memorable years in a long time as a number of plots keep viewers engaged.
The emotional story of Lola, a character who suffered from a brain tumour before passing away, is one of these with viewers up and down the country left heartbroken.
EastEnders airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 7:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
