Fans of Ali G are expected to be in for a treat, as the iconic parody gangster wannabe is set to return as part of a brand-new tour from creator and actor Sacha Baron Cohen.
Ali G shot to fame in the 1990s and early 2000s with his prank interviews of various public figures including the Beckhams, Donald Trump and astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
Now Baron Cohen is set to bring the character back for a new tour according to PA news agency.
2023 marks the 25th anniversary of Ali G when he first appeared on the Channel 4 sketch show The 11 O’clock Show in 1998.

According to several reports, including the BBC and Variety, its believed that Baron Cohen has been working on a stand-up tour in which Ali G will make an appearance.
Ali G was well known for his distinctive yellow tracksuit and claims to be part of street gang “Da West Staines Massiv”.
After being first introduced on Channel 4, the character got his own TV show, Da Ali G Show and a movie, Ali G In Da House.
Despite telling The Daily Telegraph in 2007 that he had retired the character, Baron Cohen delivered a keynote speech as the rapper at Harvard University in 2015.
Further details on the tour by Baron Cohen have not yet been shared.
