Taskmaster is returning to our screens this week and viewers can look forward to a new cast, including comedian Sue Perkins.
She will be joined by Julian Clary, Lucy Beaumont, Sam Campbell and Susan Wokoma.
You might be familiar with some or all of the famous faces in the line-up, but in case you aren’t sure, let’s take a look at who Sue Perkins is.
Who is Sue Perkins?
Sue Perkins is a presenter as well as a writer and comedian and you might know her from the comedy partnership she has with Mel Giedroyc, according to the Radio Times.
The pair have also co-starred in a sitcom called Hitmen.
Fans of The Great British Bake Off might also recognise Perkins as she co-presented the show from 2010 until 2016.
Light Lunch, Insert Name Here and The Generation Game are among the shows she has hosted.
She has written for French & Saunders and appeared on shows such as Celebrity Big Brother, QI, Thronecast and The Masked Singer.
Sue Perkins: Perfectly Legal is a show she presented on Netflix last year and also in 2022, she presented at the British LGBT Awards.

She has also lent her voice to the fantasy film Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves, which stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Rege-Jean Page, Sophia Lillis and Hugh Grant.
How to watch Taskmaster
Taskmaster will return to our screens on Thursday, September 21.
The first episode of the series will air at 9pm on Channel 4.
