Susan Wokoma is one of the five celebrities taking part in the 16th series of Taskmaster and hoping to solve a whole host of hilarious and wacky challenges.
Once again Greg Davies and Alex Horne will be putting some comedians through their paces to bring out the best of their outside-the-box thinking.
There will be five famous faces battling it out in some of the most bizarre conquests yet, hoping to be crowned Taskmaster champion.
Among Julian Clary, Lucy Beaumont, Sam Campbell and Sue Perkins will be actress and writer Susan Wokoma.
Who is Susan Wokoma?
Susan Wokoma was born on December 31, 1987 in Peckham, London and was part of the National Youth Theatre.
She made her professional acting debut in the BAFTA-winning TV film That Summer Day in 2006 before earning a bachelor's degree in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2010.
Since then she has made numerous appearances across TV, including in the Michaela Coel-written Chewing Gum, Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Crashing, Year of the Rabbit alongside Matt Berry and Cheaters.
Meanwhile, for films she has featured as the character of Edith in the Enola Holmes films, Half of a Yellow Sun, The Inbetweeners 2, The House and Save the Cinema.
In May 2022, Wokoma started directing her first feature film, Three Weeks, which she also wrote and starred in.
When does Taskmaster series 16 start?
Taskmaster will return to Channel 4 on Thursday, September 21 at 9pm, according to the Radio Times TV listing.

The full synopsis of the first episode reads: “Comedian Julian Clary, actress, writer and stand-up Lucy Beaumont, award-winning stand-up Sam Campbell, writer and comedian Sue Perkins and actress, writer and director Susan Wokoma battle to win an elaborate joust to become the 16th Taskmaster champion.
“As usual, Alex Horne helps maintain order amid the chaos, though falls foul of Taskmaster Greg Davies at one point because of peas.
“Elsewhere, Lucy marvels at a canned blindfold and everyone tries to put a big duck in a lake.”
