The latest news from the Redbridge Performance club
The Redbridge Performance players continued their winning streak with three more medals at tournaments around the country.
Gopika Leneesh battled her way to a bronze medal in the girls’ singles event at the Surrey Under-15 Gold tournament.
Leneesh overcame her opponents in the group stage, but ran out of steam against the eventual winner, Scotland’s Vibha Raman, in the semi-final.
Rhea Ramakrishnan, meanwhile, added two more medals to her season’s haul at the Worcestershire Under-15 Bronze tournament.
Ramakrishnan added her seventh medal of the season with a bronze in the girl’s singles.
Medal number eight for Ramakrishnan arrived in the girls’ doubles event, where she teamed up with Matilda Franklin of Nottingham to take silver.
It has been a remarkable period of medal success for Redbridge Performance members and one they will hope continues for some time yet.
Redbridge Performance are based at the Redbridge Sports & Leisure Centre in Forest Road, Barkingside.
