Old Loughtonians women maintained their hold on top spot in the East Premier with a 3-0 victory at Letchworth on Saturday.
It was their fourth win by that margin in their last five games - after midweek success against Upminster - and leaves them on a high before returning at Broxbourne on December 3.
It was a game of defence against attack from the start as Loughts peppered the Letchworth D, but were denied by the keeper in the opening 20 minutes.
The breakthrough came when Stevie Southall's penalty corner strike found Chelsey Toms at the far post to deflect into the net.
Chantelle Fernandes and Siobhan Daley went close to extending the lead, before a second goal finally arrived five minutes from time when Chloe Menear's penalty corner strike was turned home by Emily Holmes.
Player of the match India Blake, supported by Tribe Bars, made it 3-0 with the goal of the day as a sweeping move featuring Tasha Patient and Faye Holmes left her with a simple close-range finish.
Wednesday's game with Upminster at Luxborough Lane remained goalless until the 50th minute when player of the match Adele Sammons produced an unerring finish at a penalty corner.
Stevie Southall had already hit the far post from another corner, but Fernandes made it 2-0 after a brilliant baseline run by Blake and Sammons grabbed her second with eight minutes left.
The seconds drew 2-2 at Stevenage as Georgia Dawes and Anya Pitt netted, while the thirds beat Redbridge & Ilford 2-0 and are now one of five teams on 16 points at the top of the able.
Korobi Sen got their first goal, with Clementine Jamieson doubling the advantage from a short corner as goalkeeper Sophie Kiely and her opposite number in the Redbridge & Ilford net impressed throughout.
The fourths were unlucky to lose 2-1 after a long trip to Southend & Benfleet thirds, with Jill Bowyer on target.
And the fifths left it late before securing a 1-0 win against Maldon thirds thanks to a goal from Lara Williams.
On Sunday the u18 girls were away at Bishops Stortford in the EH Cup and, in a high quality match, Loughts eventually won 4-3.
