An injury-time own goal earned Leyton Orient a point against Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium.
Head coach Richie Wellens made two changes to his starting line-up from the weekend's draw with Wigan Athletic, as Aaron Drinan and Rob Hunt came into the side for Joe Pigott and Brandon Cooper.
And the visitors made a bright start on a chilly night, with Shaq Forde and Tom James having early sights of goal and Theo Archibald seeing his shot deflected through to Matthew Cox.
The hosts looked dangerous on the counter, with Dan Happe denying Chris Martin a chance to convert Harvey Vale's cross.
And Martin headed wide under pressure from Happe, before Vale sliced a cross just wide of the top corner and into the side netting.
Cox denied Forde from Drinan's pass, before O's were forced to replace James with Jayden Sweeney.
But after Ed Turns prevented Lewis Gordon meeting a dangerous through ball from Anthony Evans, Drinan had to be replaced by Max Sanders and Rovers took the lead in the third minute of stoppage time as Grant Ward fired home from the edge of the box.
Idris El Mizouni deflected James Wilson's powerful volley over the crossbar soon after the restart, then forced Cox to push a shot behind at the other end on 54 minutes.
Ruel Sotiriou also had an attempt deflected for a corner as O's kept pushing, but Luke Thomas shot inches wide for the hosts on 62 minutes.
El Mizouni had another effort deflected behind off Jack Hunt, before Pigott and Dan Agyei replaced Sotiriou and Forde in a double change 14 minutes from time.
And Agyei tried everything to drag O's back into it in the closing stages, as they camped in the home half but were frustrated by a dogged defence.
But with four minutes of stoppage time almost up, Jordan Brown's header bounced off Tristan Crama and found the net to level the scores and Sol Brynn's last-gasp save and help from the crossbar ensured they did not make the long trip back to east London empty-handed.
They now turn their attention to the FA Cup and a second-round tie at Chesterfield on Sunday.
